More than 43,000m2/37 tons of carbon fiber - a light, eco-friendly material that is three times stronger and five times lighter than steel - has been used to build the 133 multi-layer canopy frame. A 25-metre wind turbine harnesses 12.7 MWh of wind energy annually. For enhanced safety, the station uses advanced fuel management and gauging systems that continuously monitor the integrity of the tanks, providing 24-hour leak detection coupled with turbine pump interface monitoring systems.

Heritage Inspired; Future Ready

Solar photovoltaic panels and a 25-metre wind turbine will power the service station, which will also recycle water and produce drinking water for on-site staff by converting humidity in the air into water molecules. Advanced machine learning, artificial intelligence and data analytics technologies provide customized service and retail offerings for those fuelling up, and will help keep queuing/wait times as short as possible. Charging for electric vehicles is also available.

The 133 multi-layer canopy frames that house clear, innovative leaf shaped Ethylene tetrafluoroethylene (ETFE) cushion canopies and are powered with more than 3,800 LED light modules.
